Listen: on our site, PRX, Mixcloud — full track list with links

In the United States we have recently seen changes to the way we approach caring for our endangered and vulnerable species, i.e., the protections are waning — as is the list itself, which now appears to be endangered. Host Laura Dedelow invites you to reflect with us on just a few of the creatures on the list and the uniqueness of each.

Laura had intended to mention the documentary, How to Live on Earth, but time constraints did not allow. We also encourage our listeners to support the Protect Gulf Life Act. Thank you for honoring the endangered and vulnerable species with us.

Syndication update: We’re delighted to be on the schedule of KUGS-FM, a station in Bellingham, Washington, affiliated with Western Washington University. We’re on their regular Sunday morning lineup, right after Rest and Relax and right before the long-running Indigenous in Music with Larry K.

Including our homebase of WHIV-FM in New Orleans, this brings the total number of stations where Earth Eclectic can be heard to six. Check out the full listing. If you have any connections in the world of community radio, please get in touch!
