Laura writes: “My family is fortunate to have the best of both worlds: urban convenience nestled near campus in a multi-canopied environment. This means we have a wide variety of flora and fauna, lots of wildlife and existing plants going back generations. We’re able to mark the seasons by our outdoor observations of who’s blooming and who’s got young ones to be left in our care while mamas go out in search of nutrients. Birds pass through, stopping long enough to nest and see their fledglings go out into the world, and all manner of mammals call our home home.”

Award: We’re looking for new releases that lift up ecological consciousness. Specifically, with support from the Gaian Way, we plan to give an award to recognize outstanding ecospiritual music released in 2024, 2025, or 2026. Re-releases, remasters, and remixes are welcome, and self-nominations are encouraged. Nominations must be submitted by Earth Day, and we plan to announce the award on World Environment Day.
