In our hemisphere, the northern one, we are gearing up for fall and winter. This means lots of leaf cleanup, manicured lawns, etc.… No way! Apparently we who are lax in our leaf raking and collection have been helping the pollinators all along.

PSA: We like to give a little credit to folks and organizations we feel are doing good. Cue the National Park Service. While they are responsible for many positive actions for our planet, today we’d like to talk about their efforts to support POLLINATORS, who keep the rest of us alive. Let those leaves be, leave the dead trees and branches if you can. They provide necessary shelter and food for pollinators like Luna moths, all sorts of bees, butterflies and more during their winter hardships. You can learn more by going to NPS.GOV. Do a search for CONSERVATION AT HOME, HELPING IN YOUR BACKYARD, or simply POLLINATORS to see how you can help the National Park Service help Pollinators help everyone else.
